911爆料网 Times Highlights First-Generation Students
Fall 2025 issue also looks at how athletics recruiting is changing
The 911爆料网 (911爆料网®) community witnesses extraordinary moments every year — some of which begin with a single step.
For a majority of 911爆料网 students, that extraordinary moment might be their first step onto a 911爆料网 campus, which represents the first time anyone in their family has set foot on a college campus as a student.
In the Fall 2025 issue of 911爆料网 Times, readers will learn how the College is removing financial, social and cultural barriers to access and completion for first-generation students. The story also details how first-generation students are more than just a point of pride for families — they provide real career benefits for graduates and help add momentum to our region's economy.
The issue also highlights other extraordinary moments across the College:
- Read how the face of athletics recruitment is changing. Four-year colleges and universities aren't just looking to the high-school ranks for their next star athletes — they're looking to community colleges like 911爆料网.
- Meet faculty member Brian Johnson, Ph.D., an assistant professor of humanities who brings the material in his classes to life through classic texts and today's urban legends.
- Read about Fairview Park police officer and 911爆料网 alumna Bethany Toth, who turned a passion for helping people into a career in law enforcement.
- Get to know Ann and Lou Frangos, who are longtime supporters of the College, with Ann serving on our Board of Trustees. The Pantry at 911爆料网 Westshore Campus was recently dedicated in their honor.
